Connecting Communities Of The South East To Low To No Cost Emergency Medical & Skills Training

At the Wild West Outdoor Adventure Foundation (WWOAF), our mission is to equip underserved communities with life-changing skills and inspire people to explore and engage with the natural world. Our initiatives are the “how” behind our mission—the tangible, on-the-ground programs we run across Georgia, Alabama, Western South Carolina, and beyond. Each program is designed to build confidence, ensure safety, and open the doors to outdoor adventure for everyone.

Wilderness Medicine & Survival Skills Training

This initiative is our gateway to the backcountry, empowering individuals with the critical skills needed to operate safely and confidently in remote environments. From Wilderness First Aid (WFA) to the industry-standard Wilderness First Responder (WFR), these courses are designed for everyone—from the weekend hiker or hunter to the aspiring outdoor professional. We focus on practical, scenario-based learning to build the judgment and self-reliance required when help is hours, not minutes, away.

First Aid, CPR, AED & Other Emergency Training Courses

Our community training initiative is the foundation of a safer, more resilient public. We provide low-to-no-cost access to essential, life-saving courses like Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED operation. These programs are designed for individuals, small businesses, and non-profits, empowering everyday people to become immediate responders. We believe that financial barriers should never prevent someone from learning the skills to save the life of a family member, co-worker, or neighbor.

Medical Supply & Kit Outfitting

This initiative is the logistical backbone of our mission. By partnering with healthcare providers, manufacturers, and generous donors, we secure and manage a steady supply of high-quality medical equipment. These donated supplies are used to run our volunteer-led training courses, ensuring every student learns with real-world gear. Furthermore, we outfit fellow non-profits, volunteer groups, and community organizations with the first aid kits and supplies they need to keep their teams and the people they serve safe.

Your Financial Donation Funds Life-Saving Courses

A financial gift is a powerful way to support the entire scope of our work. Monetary donations provide the flexibility to purchase necessary training equipment, secure classroom locations, and expand our reach. Your contribution helps cover the operational costs that make these vital emergency training programs possible, ensuring they remain accessible to everyone.
