WWOAF Mobile Is On A Mission To Strengthen Resilience on the Gulf Coast

On the Gulf Coast, we know what it means to be resilient and prepared. The Wild West Outdoor Adventure Foundation (WWOAF) is launching in the Greater Mobile Area to bolster that community spirit. Our mission is to empower our community with life-saving skills, providing low-to-no-cost emergency and wilderness training so you can explore, lead, and protect your family and neighbors. We are new to the area, and we need your help to launch.

Teach Emergency Preparedness in Mobile, Prichard & Gulf Shores

WWOAF teaches practical, hands-on emergency courses to empower our neighbors. We are actively seeking Mobile-area instructors with current certifications (EMT, Paramedic, First Aid/CPR Instructor) to join our team and help teach these life-saving skills.

Explore Wilderness Training for Mobile, Gulf Shores, and the Delta<

With unique natural resources like the Mobile-Tensaw Delta and the Gulf Coast, Mobile is a hub for boaters, anglers, and hikers. Our wilderness training is essential for this diverse outdoor community. We offer courses from basic survival to advanced Wilderness First Responder (WFR), built for anyone who works or plays on the water or in the woods. We are actively seeking local non-profits and community groups in Mobile to partner with to host these empowering outdoor courses.

Organize Supply & Gear Drives in Mobile, Gulf Shores & Baldwin County

Our low-to-no-cost training is powered by resources from the community. We are looking for volunteer organizers in the Greater Mobile Area to run supply drives for essential medical and outdoor recreation gear (like backpacks, hiking shoes, and boating safety gear). These donated items directly offset costs for our students and ensure our volunteer instructors have the tools they need to teach.
