WWOAF South Carolina Provides Wilderness Medical Training & Community CPR, First Aid, AED And Emergency Training Courses

From the mountains of the Upstate to the Lowcountry coast, WWOAF is committed to empowering South Carolinians with essential life-saving skills. We believe that everyone, regardless of background, deserves the confidence to act in an emergency and explore the outdoors safely.

Community Emergency Training

Our focus in South Carolina is building resilient neighborhoods. Our low-to-no-cost CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid courses equip neighbors, small businesses, and non-profits in the Palmetto State to become immediate responders when it matters most.

Wilderness Medicine & Survival Courses

South Carolina’s diverse terrain, from the Blue Ridge foothills to the coastal plains, demands specific skills. Our wilderness medicine courses (like WFA and WFR) are designed for the state’s hikers, boaters, hunters, and climbers, providing the skills to manage emergencies when help is far away.

Medical & Outdoor Gear Outfitting

To keep our South Carolina courses accessible, we rely on community support. This initiative outfits our volunteer instructors with the manikins, first aid supplies, and outdoor recreation gear (like boots and backpacks) needed to provide high-quality, hands-on training at little to no cost.
